There are countless inspirational stories being told by billions of people around the world every day. Here are seven people whose creativity and innovation is inspiring us on a regular basis.
-
Buster Benson
Buster is an absolutely incredible person who builds inspiring tools. He uses his creativity to create websites and applications that help improve your life. Not only is he the maker of the social health game Health Month, he’s also the guy behind 750 Words and the recently sold Locavore app.

Amber Rae
As founder of revolution.is and a fanatical blogger on all things motivational, Amber uses her creativity to reach out and motivate anyone who will listen or look. She has been a constant resource of inspiration for A Spindle, and she can be a powerful resource for you to reference whenever you need a kick in the pants too.
-
Jonah Lehrer
As a writer for Wired Jonah uses his creativity to explore the human brain. There has yet to be a single thing written or spoken by Jonah that hasn’t inspired me, be sure to catch his talk on How We Decide if you have some time to spare.
-
Hugh MacLeod
If you grew up being taught that artists can’t change the world, Hugh is here to prove us wrong. Hugh uses his creativity to draw inspirational (and sometimes motivational) works of art. Not only does he draw exceptionally well, Hugh also recently wrote a great book called Evil Plans that walks through inspirational levels of how to use your ideas for change.
-
Melissa Dinwiddie
Melissa is one of my favorite creative entrepreneurs. She uses her creativity to inspire people 365 days a year. Melissa also spends a lot of her time managing a lot of projects that many people can only dream of starting, such as the Thriving Artists Project and the 15 minutes a day challenge.

Benjamin Reece
I first discovered Benjamin when he launched the absolutely moving project Fifty People, One Question (which you should go watch right now). Benjamin uses his creativity to make captivating videos and websites that help tell powerful stories. He’s also responsible for the premier, upcoming, online video sales website: Kinio.

Frank Chimero
Frank is one hell of an illustrator, designer, and writer. He’s using his creativity to write an important book about the shape of design. He also tends to write and blog about very inspirational things like velocity, advice for graphic design students, and the magic of a horse in an Apple store. Trust me when I say Frank is someone to keep an eye out for, he’s making waves in the world.
